Myles Sanko – Memories Of Love

The new opus from Myles Sanko will arrive on March 12, in black and white, Cinemascope format. Settle into your seat, because it’s certainly the sound of what Motown would have become today—dazzling, grand, magnificent. Album after album, Myles Sanko intoxicates us and speaks to us of love…

*Memories Of Love* is the fourth opus from soul singer and composer Myles Sanko, following *Born In Black & White* (2013), *Forever Dreaming* (2014), and *Just Being Me* (2016). In ten new songs, *Memories Of Love* captures the exhilarating spirit of his live performances on the European jazz festival and club circuit in recent years, transforming them into a superb collection of modern soul music.

Myles Sanko comments on this brand-new album: “This album is my most personal one to date… Every song is a memory of love, a love story, good or bad, happy or sad. Love is not always as we imagine in fairy tales, because choosing to love is also long-term work. Over the years, I’ve written love songs, and most of them contain some reality but also a lot of fiction. Maybe that was because I wasn’t quite ready to share this part of myself, but now I seem to be freeing myself. I would say that becoming a father has changed my perspective and made me a little braver, allowing me to accept myself as I am. One of the main reasons for the positive balance of sound and spirit in *Memories Of Love* is the musicians.”

Myles Sanko recorded the album with the same band he has toured with over the past eight years. He produced it himself and co-wrote most of the music with his long-time collaborator, Tom O’Grady (Resolution 88). It is therefore especially important to support this excellent artist and follow his artistic journey. *Memories Of Love* naturally takes its place among the albums marked as “Essential” in the discographies of Bayou Blue Radio and Paris-Move editorial teams.
